Samui has set itself apart as one of Thailand's most popular resort destinations. If you need a break from all that lounging on the beach, there are lots of unusual attractions which make the most of the island's culture and island charm. Forget the theme parks and hi-tech attractions. Instead, try the monkey show or the snake farm, or better still hire a car and go sightseeing.
There are many curiosities or attractions to see on the island of Samui, enough to satisfy all the family.
We suggest you some places worth a visit:
Hin Ta Hin Yai (Grandfather & Grandmother Rocks):
 It’s one of the most popular tourist attractions on Koh Samui and a staple part of the island’s culture.

Big Buddha:
Big Buddha, Samui's most famous landmark, is found on a very small island northeast of Bophut. It is connected to the main island by a small road.

Samui Waterfalls:
Na Muang 1 Waterfall, Wang Saotong Waterfall , Hin Lad Waterfall are Samui Island waterfalls all certainly blessed with a personal and distinctive charm, each is worth a visit during your stay.

Samui Monkey Centre:
The Samui Monkey Centre is located about 500m south of ban Bo Phut.

Ang Thong National Marine Park:
The national park is made up of an archipelago of around 40 smalls islands.

Snake Farm:
Samui Snake Farm grip the largest venomous snake, the King Cobra, with their bare hands, presenting it to the audience for a spine-tingling close look.

Butterfly Garden:
The Samui Butterfly Garden is located on the side of a hill at Laem Natien and features an enclosed tropical park containing hundreds of butterflies.

Crocodile Farm:
Crocodile farm is located behind the airport.
